Job Description:
A major civil engineering contractor is seeking an experienced Project Health and Safety Manager to oversee health and safety operations on a landmark project in Riyadh. Offering a tax-free monthly salary of 50,000 SAR, this role includes full accommodation and travel benefits. The position is ideally suited for professionals with a strong HSE background and over 20 years of experience.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and enforce health and safety policies, ensuring full compliance with both local regulations and international standards.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments to maintain a safe working environment across the project.
• Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near-misses, delivering root cause analysis and corrective actions.
• Provide HSE training and guidance to staff, contractors, and on-site personnel.
• Work closely with the project management team to integrate safety protocols into all project phases.
• Liaise with local authorities and regulatory bodies to ensure all legal and safety requirements are met.

Requirements:

• Degree-level qualification in Occupational Health and Safety or a related field.
• Over 20 years of experience in health and safety management, must be within large-scale civil engineering or infrastructure projects.
• Strong knowledge of local HSE regulations and international best practices.
• Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
• Previous experience working in the Middle East is advantageous.
• Consideration for UK, EU, Australia, and South African ex-pats.
