Health & Safety Advisor

📍 Suffolk

💰 £50,000 – £55,000 + car allowance + benefits

Join one of the UK’s leading Tier 1 civil engineering contractors as a H&S Advisor on a major scheme. This is a perfect opportunity for someone with a couple of years’ experience in civils based health and safety who wants to step up into a role within major infrastructure projects.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supporting a major project in Suffolk
• Advising project teams on site compliance, risk assessments, and method statements
• Conducting site audits, inspections, and safety observations
• Supporting the development of RAMS and site-specific safety plans
• Encouraging a positive health & safety culture at all levels of site teams
• Reporting on incidents, near misses, and supporting investigations

What we’re looking for:

• 2+ years of health & safety experience in a construction or civils setting
• NEBOSH Construction Certificate (or equivalent)
• Confident communicator who can engage with site teams and senior leaders
• Willingness to travel regionally – this is a field-based role
• A proactive, hands-on approach to safety management
