Regional Quality Manager - Civil Engineering

Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Quality Manager to oversee quality assurance across major civil engineering sites. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in quality management and possess extensive experience in the civil engineering or rail industry.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures across multiple civil engineering sites
- Conduct regular audits to ensure compliance with quality standards and regulations
- Identify and resolve quality issues in a timely manner to minimize project delays
- Collaborate with project managers and staff to communicate quality objectives and provide necessary training
- Analyse data and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance overall quality performance
- Serve as the primary point of contact for quality-related inquiries from internal and external stakeholders
- Stay up-to-date with industry best practices and incorporate relevant advancements into quality processes
Qualifications
- A quality management qualification (e.g., Six Sigma, Lean, ISO 9001) is required
- Proven experience in quality assurance within the civil engineering or rail industry
- Strong understanding of quality standards and regulations applicable to civil engineering projects
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams
- Demonstrated analytical and problem-solving abilities to address quality issues effectively
- Knowledge of industry-specific software and tools for quality management
