Safety Manager – M1 Corridor (Midlands) – £55,000 + Car and travel

We’re working with a leading electrical utilities contractor seeking an experienced HSEQ Manager to oversee projects across the M1 corridor in the Midlands. This is a key role ensuring compliance, driving safety culture, and supporting operational teams in delivering high-quality, safe, and sustainable projects.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead and manage health, safety, environmental, and quality standards across multiple sites.

• Provide expert advice and guidance to site teams and project managers.

• Conduct audits, inspections, and risk assessments to maintain compliance.

• Develop and implement HSEQ initiatives, policies, and continuous improvement programmes.

• Report on performance, investigate incidents, and promote a proactive safety culture.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven background in HSEQ management within utilities, electrical, or construction sectors.

• Strong knowledge of UK H&S legislation and ISO standards.

• NEBOSH Diploma (or equivalent) preferred.

• Excellent communication, leadership, and influencing skills.

• Full UK driving licence and flexibility to travel across sites.
