Health, Safety & Environment Advisor

Location: Milton Keynes, Buckinghamshire

Salary: £47,000 – £52,000 + car or £4,500 car allowance

 

Type: Full-time | Site-based (rail environment)

 

An established principal contractor is seeking an experienced Health, Safety & Environment Advisor to support a major rail infrastructure project in the Milton Keynes area. This role is fully site-based and offers the opportunity to work on a long-term, safety-critical rail programme.

 

The Role

  • Provide HSE advice across rail, and track civils
  • Conduct site inspections, audits and risk assessments
  • Support incident investigations and implement corrective actions
  • Deliver toolbox talks and actively promote a positive safety culture
  • Engage with site teams and subcontractors to ensure HSE compliance

 

About You

  • PTS/Sentinel is a must have
  • HSE experience within rail or track-based construction projects
  • Confident communicator able to influence operational teams
  • NEBOSH or equivalent qualification preferred
