Junior / Trainee - Health and Safety Advisor

£30,000-£35,000 plus travel

This role is for a junior health and safety adviser setting out on a career in construction health and safety or with some limited experience. 

We are seeking someone with the ambition to develop into an all-round and competent health and safety consultant, capable of working with both low-risk Sub-Contractors and high-risk Principal Contractors.  Continued professional development will be actively promoted and supported. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your health and safety career in a supportive environment. 

Responsibilities

• Carryout daily (approx. 3 per day) site safety inspections of client’s projects.
• Reviewing risk assessments and method statements.
• Compile risk assessments and method statements.
• Advise clients on occupational health hazards and controls.
• Assist clients in completing industry accreditations and PQQ’s.
• Complete accident investigations.
• Respond to clients request for support and advice.

 Desired

• NEBOSH General or Construction Certificate
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Confident and motivated.
• Full UK Driving License.
